How to Install Mods on your Factorio Server

There are tons of free mods available directly through the factorio game. Add some to customize your factory playthrough!

Install Mods

1. In the Factorio Game Menu, click on the Mod button to open the menu.
2. In the explore tab, view available mods and install the mods you want to use.
3. In the manage tab, you can turn off and on the compatible mods you want to use.

Connect and Synchronize your Server

1. Once you have your active mods set up, go to multiplayer and connect to your server.
2. You will see a message prompting you to synchronize your server
3. Click synchronize and another messsage will display the mods that will be added
4. Click confirm and enjoy your new mods!
