Why Mumble?

While free platforms like Discord sell your data and add latency, Mumble gives you a direct, encrypted line to your team.

Ultra-Low Latency

Mumble's audio pipeline is engineered for speed. With typical round-trip times of 10-30ms, your callouts arrive before they matter. Discord's processing overhead can't compete when milliseconds count.

Encrypted by Default

Every connection is secured with TLS and every voice packet is encrypted with AES. Unlike Discord, where conversations pass through their servers in the clear, Mumble ensures your comms stay private.

Open Source & Auditable

No black boxes. Mumble's entire codebase is publicly auditable. No telemetry, no tracking, no surprises. You know exactly what's running on your server because you can read every line.

Positional Audio

Hear teammates from their in-game position. Mumble supports positional audio for over 50 games including Counter-Strike, Battlefield, and more — giving your squad a genuine competitive edge.

Granular Access Controls

Mumble's ACL (Access Control List) system lets you configure permissions per channel and per user. Create private officer channels, restrict who can speak, and build the exact hierarchy your community needs.

Your Data, Your Rules

Discord's privacy policy lets them read your messages and analyze voice data. With hosted Mumble, your conversations are yours alone. No ads, no profiling, no third-party access — ever.
