How much RAM and CPU does an Enshrouded dedicated server need? Here's what we recommend.
RAM by Player Count
1 to 4 players: 6GB of RAM handles early through mid-game comfortably. This is our standard plan and works for most small groups.
5 to 8 players: 8GB is recommended. More players means more bases, more terrain loaded, and more combat events happening simultaneously.
9 to 16 players: 10-12GB for the full 16-player co-op experience. Large groups exploring different Shroud zones at the same time benefit from the extra headroom.
CPU Performance
Enshrouded relies heavily on CPU performance for world simulation, AI behavior, and terrain voxel calculations. Our plans include 3 to 5 dedicated Ryzen CPU cores. For groups pushing the 16-player cap or building elaborate bases, the extra cores make a noticeable difference in server tick stability.
Disk Space
Enshrouded world saves grow as players explore and build. Save files can reach several hundred MB for active servers with large builds. All plans include 40GB of NVMe SSD storage, which is plenty for your world data, backups, and server files.
Network & Latency

Enshrouded is a co-op survival action RPG developed by Keen Games for up to 16 players. You awaken as a Flameborn, one of the last survivors in a world consumed by a mysterious corrupting fog called the Shroud. The game blends deep combat, skill-based character building, base construction, and crafting into one of the most ambitious survival RPGs available on PC.
The Shroud is central to gameplay. Venturing into the fog means tougher enemies, better loot, and a ticking timer before the corruption overwhelms you. Boss fights inside the Shroud are some of the most intense co-op encounters in the genre. Playing with a full group makes these encounters more manageable and far more fun, as you can coordinate builds, share resources, and tackle higher-difficulty Shroud zones together.
While Enshrouded supports peer-to-peer co-op where one player hosts the session, this ties the game to that player's PC and connection. When they disconnect, everyone gets kicked.
