GameSwap comes free with every EVLBOX game server. Freeze the game you're playing, install another, and bring the first one back later exactly as you left it.
The one rule is that the server has to be big enough for the game going on next. We sell servers by RAM, CPU and disk, not by game, so this page shows which plans run which games before you buy. Groups that size it right the first time never have to think about it again.
Every game has a floor
The least RAM, disk and CPU it needs to install. Clear it and the game is one click away on the GameSwap page. Miss it and the catalog greys the game out and says what's short.
Plans are sold by resources
Our cheapest server is 2GB. Enshrouded needs 6GB. So a Team Fortress 2 plan can't become an Enshrouded server without more RAM, while an 8GB plan with 40GB of disk runs everything in the catalog.
Floors are not recommendations
A game at its floor installs and runs a small group. Bigger groups, built-up worlds and mod lists want more, and each game's page says how much. RAM and CPU can be added later without rebuilding the world, and disk on most plans.

Floors are the catalog's install minimums as of October 2026. Swap only means we don't sell a dedicated plan for the game yet, so the way in is any plan that clears its floor.

RAM is the floor that matters most. CPU is two vCPU everywhere, and disk only bites on a handful of games, marked below. Every plan we sell sits on the rung it clears.

Freeze slots, and what a year gets you
A freeze slot is a parking space for a game. Every server includes one. Pay yearly and we add two more, so you can keep three game servers frozen in time and swap between them, with no waiting between swaps.
Yearly plans are 37.5% off the monthly rate on every game server and renew at the same price. The picker above shows the yearly figure next to each plan.

- Restore exactly as it wasSame builds, same mods, same settings. A restored freeze stays recoverable for 48 hours as a safety net.

GameSwap sizing questions
Is GameSwap free?
Yes, for every customer. GameSwap is built into every EVLBOX game server and includes one freeze slot. Pay for a year up front and we add two more, so three in total, with no waiting between swaps. Extra slots are also sold as an add-on if you pay monthly.
Can any plan swap to any game?
No. Every game in the catalog has a floor for RAM, disk and CPU, and your server has to clear it before the game will install. A 2GB plan runs Factorio, Left 4 Dead 2 and Minecraft. Enshrouded, Palworld and Star Rupture want 6GB. Satisfactory, Sons of the Forest and Windrose want 8GB. Pick a plan on this page and the catalog shows exactly what fits.
Which plan runs every game in the catalog?
Any plan with at least 8GB of RAM, 40GB of disk and two vCPU clears every floor. Windrose Sloop, Hytale Pigeon, Vintage Story Temporal and Minecraft 8GB all do, and anything bigger does too. The picker marks every plan that runs the full catalog.
Are the minimums the same as what I should buy?
No. The floor is what a game needs to install and start, and it runs a small group there. Bigger groups, built-up worlds and mod lists want more, and each game's own page says how much. If you already know your group will bounce between big games, start on a plan that clears all of them rather than upgrading later.
Can I upgrade a server later?
Yes. RAM and CPU can be added to an existing server without rebuilding the world, and disk on most plans, and your address stays the same. If a game in the catalog is greyed out for you, open a ticket and tell us which one. What it takes depends on the game, your plan and the machine your server is on, so we'd rather quote it than have you guess.
What happens to my world when I swap?
Freeze it and nothing is lost. Freezing archives your files, saves, worlds, configs and mods into a freeze slot stored off your server, and it uses none of your disk while frozen. Restore it later and it comes back exactly as you left it. Wiping instead erases the current game permanently, which is why we ask you to type a confirmation code first. Databases and subdomains are never touched either way.
Is my server offline during a swap?
Yes. The server stops while the swap runs, and the panel shows a progress screen with a rough time range instead of a promise. Big servers take longer. You can close the tab, it keeps running, and you can ask for an email when it's done.
The game I want is greyed out. Now what?
Greyed out means the game is in the catalog but your server is below its floor. Open a ticket and tell us which game you want to swap to, and we will tell you what the upgrade takes. If the game is missing from the catalog entirely, we don't offer it yet, and we add games on request. Tell us on Discord or in a ticket what you want to play and we will see what we can do.
